Upload a File to
Guntersville Laser Engraving

To upload a file to Guntersville Laser Engraving, please fill out the form below by entering the local (on your computer) filename in the box, including the path (directory). Or, click on the BROWSE button to search for the file on your computer.

Once you click on the "Upload File(s)!" button you will NOT get any indication that the file(s) is/are being transferred.

Please be patient, especially if it is a large file. You will receive confirmation that the file was successfully sent or you will receive an error message.

Vector graphic files are PREFERRED! Vector graphic files are typically created by programs like Adobe Illustrator (AI), CorelDraw (CDR), and AutoCAD (DWG, DXF). Vector graphic files store the geometry as mathematical equations which provides for unlimited scaling without the loss of quality. Logos, graphics and engineering layouts are typically created as vector graphics. If you have the most current version of one of these programs, you may need to save the file as a lower version (File> Save As) since we may not have the most current version of the software or translator available.

If you do not have vector graphic files, we can accept most Windows filetypes (BMP, JPG, GIF, PDF, EPS, AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDraw, CorelPhoto). Non-lossy (uncompressed formats like BMP and TIF) images are preferred. Lossy (compressed images in JPG or GIF format) can lose detail if resizing is necessary.

In order to get the best engraved image, please set your digital camera or scanner for at least 300 DPI and ensure that the image is as large or larger than the final engraved image. Save the image as a bitmap (BMP or TIF) file if you have a choice. Turn off compression when saving your file as a compressed (JPG) file. Acrylic and glass engravings look best without a background. We can digitally remove the background from your image, but if you are staging an image, please minimize the background as much as possible (ie take the image with the subject against a plain wall).

Please contact us if you have problems or questions. You may also e-mail images.
